Glossary
EPC - Earnings Per Click. The total commission by the total number of clicks.
Example:
if you affiliate link generates 100 clicks and you earn $10.00, your EPC is $0.10.
Conversion % - This is the percentage of converted
sales/leads for all clicks generated. Example: If you generate 100 clicks and 5 of those users
purchase or sign-up, you have a 5% conversion.
Click - When a user clicks on a merchant link and is redirected to the offer
landing/sales page, a "click" is counted.
Creative - This is a merchant offer campaign's individual promotional
link: text links, banners, etc..
Payout - Affiliate Commission. This is the amount you earn for each
sales or lead. Pay-Per-Lead (PPL) offers have flat-rate payouts
while Pay-Per-Sale (PPS) offers can pay a percentage of the referred total sale in addition
to a flat-rate payout.
Lead - When a user fully completes a signs-up
for a merchants offer for a newsletter, free information, subscription, etc.. a "lead"
record is recorded.
Sale - When a user successfully completes a
purchase from the merchants offer sales processing page, a "sale" is recorded.
